Company Profile

DGL Director - Robert Scurr

DGL started over 35 years ago with just one man. His passion and commitment to not just getting the job done but doing it better than everyone else, has led to a company that prides itself as being an industry leader in method, technology and safety.

Based out of Onekawa in Napier NZ, on top of forestry harvesting operations the company also has a heavy haulage division to compliment its core business, as well as a team of full time mechanics and office staff. This means that DGL is now one of the largest privately owned harvesting companies in New Zealand.

The company also works closely with forest owners, managers and government agencies to ensure that the are not only adhering to the industries safety standards, but constantly looking for safer ways to carry out their work. Using the latest technology, and looking at what others in the industry abroad are doing are just two of the ways that the company uses to minimise risk and ensure a safer working environment for their staff.
