Breaker-outs: Must hold Unit Standard 1258 as a minimum or be under training towards Unit Standard 1258 and be able to break out safely.

Tree Fallers: Must hold Unit Standards 17765 & 28561 as a minimum and have falling experience. All applicants must be able to fell trees safely in cable and/or ground based crews.

Mech Tree Faller
FULL TIME - NAPIER,HAWKE'S BAY
Experienced Mechanised Tree Faller operator required
Job Requirements:
-
Mechanised Tree Felling duties include:
-6947 Bunch tree lengths for extraction or processing
-6945 Fell trees using a mechanised harvesting machine
-24590 Operate a self-levelling machine in a forestry operation
-6935 Operate an excavator based tracked machine in a forestry situation
-Following ACOP and industry best practices
-Cut trees using appropriate felling techniques
